Current Projects

The Federal Government College Lagos Alumni Association of North America (FGCLAA) supports an active list of benevolent projects and initiatives. These projects and initiatives are intended to achieve results that contribute to an improved quality of life and education for current students of our Alma Mata.

The following represent a current list of projects approved by the FGCLAA executive committee and association members. Each project is managed by a sub-committee, headed by a chairperson, and reports to the Association Project Implementation Committee¾an oversight unit. Contribute to a project.

We welcome all appropriate assistance and all financial contribution in support of these worthwhile projects. Financial contribution is easy and all contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by the U.S. IRS. FGCLAA is an exempt organization under section 501(c)3 of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code.

  • Connector.

    School Clinic Renovation and Supplies - 2009

    FGCL Alumni renovated the school clinic in 2009, provided medical supplies on a regular basis to the clinic. We also supplied multivitamins, allergy medications, bandages, thermometers, blood pressure machine, hand sanitizer, first aid kits, bed sheets, wound care materials, and Neosporin ointment.

    Internet Mast - 2011

    Provided high speed Internet connectivity to the FGCL campus

    Basketball Court - 2014

    Constructed a basketball court by the student’s hostel

    Annual Speech and Prize Giving Day

    The Alumni presents prizes to deserving students every year at the annual prize giving day.
